About Us
At Classic Form Pilates, our focus is proper technique, as developed and written by Joseph Pilates, to ensure the safest and most effective results. Our goal is not only to give you a great workout, but to inspire healthy exercise habits. We believe that Pilates is beneficial for everyone – male or female, young or old, athlete or couch-potato. We have studied both the classical repertoire as well as fusion and contemporary versions of the method, and are prepared to help you develop your Pilates practice into not only something that gets you results, but something that makes you feel great.
Try it and feel the difference for yourself.
About Angela Smith
Angela has been a devoted student of Pilates since 1995, when she was introduced to the method when rehabilitating an injured knee. She was instantly hooked on the method, and has been a faithful practitioner ever since. In 2004, Angela began studying with Power Pilates to obtain her teaching certification, which was awarded in 2006. Further studies have included Polestar Pilates, STOTT Pilates and IMX Pilates (from which she also holds a teaching certification). Angela believes that the best way to learn Pilates, and therefore get the optimal results, is through the Classical method, which is what her training has primarily been. Angela is an intuitive instructor, with a warm and friendly style that supports and encourages her clients.
